Epidemic Command Center Strategic Information Display Platform

  This project was awarded by the Centers for Disease Control of Department of Health of Taiwan , R.O.C. in 2004 for developing a platform which can elaborate information to related authorities in case infection happened in Taiwan . In accordance with the Information-based Strategies of CDC, III helped to establish a platform which could integrate a complete information network including a reporting system for notification of disease outbreaks, a reporting system for syndromes, a geographic information system for communicable diseases, an on-line disease surveillance system, and an information system on immunization set up for better coordination.
  Through this platform, Disease control organization of CDC can have immediate on-line access to necessary information for more effective and prompt disease control.

  
  III developed a platform for CDC to integrate with related documents to upload and display on three different systems listed as follows:

• SARs Report Analysis and Management System
• E-Bulletin System
• GIS System

1. Authorization Management: Users upload documents by different tier of authorization, including the function of Add, Modify, Delete and Read
2. Auto-update and auto-display documents between systems
3. Executed by authorization management and capable of uploading document manually
4. Free access documents for meeting attendees
5. Search Engine
6. Documents Format：Microsoft Office, Vision, Arcobat, Html,JPG and RealPlayer etc…
7. Information Display Platform requirements listed as follows:

• Sign in system by the function of browsing strategic information or authorized data   maintenance respectively
• Complete browser account number (valid on three systems)
• Show the last sign-out webpage when sign in system
• Not capable of access to database of three systems directly
• Capable of uploading documents manually
